The Eir Necklace

228.00

The design of this piece started as an improvisational sketch with the shape of a whale vertebrae.

The finished necklace is handcrafted in sterling silver and features a cabochon made from the slice of a naturally shed deer antler and a piece of genuine Baltic amber with a fly trapped inside.

Keeping with a more primal-looking theme, I finished the metal with a rough, brushed patina.
The antler is bezel set while the insect amber is set in an open, double-sided prong setting.

LENGTH & SIZE:

The necklace measures 18.5 inches in length, and the pendant is 2 x 1.5 inches.
