This ring is made from a piece of fossilized whale bone that is millions of years old. The inner cellular structure has been replaced with hard agate. It was cut and polished in-studio to an asymmetrical egg shape.
The band of the ring is made to resemble a pair of whale vertebrae. All of the metal used is sterling silver that has been hammer textured to a distressed finish with a dark patina.

This ring will fit a size 7. The whale bone gemstone is 13 x 16 mm.
