These earrings are handcrafted from pieces of natural agatized dinosaur bone that were hand cut and polished in-studio. This pair was cut into high dome rounds and set in brushed, satin finished sterling silver. They have a lovely silver and black coloration. Because these are hand cut, they are not machine-perfect rounds.
Sometimes called "gembone" in high quality, these gemstones have fossilized over time with agate and other minerals replacing the middle of each cell in the bone structure.
