These earrings are handcrafted in sterling silver in the shape of nautical bulkhead lights. They feature a pair of natural carnelian from Oregon that were cut and polished in my studio. The coloration of this gemstone pair is slightly different between stones with one being less vibrantly orange than the other (see images).
Each piece of chalcedony is prong set in reverse so that the belly of the gemstone follows the curvature of the light cage. The sterling silver is tumbled to a dark, rough patina.
