The focal gemstone is set in a step bezel that is contoured to wrap around the finger on the reverse. This elevated setting allows more light to pass through the tourmalinated quartz. At the top of the main setting is a smaller tube set, faceted black spinel.
The metal used to fabricate this ring is oxidized sterling silver that has been tumbled to a dark, but burnished finish.

The main stone setting measures 15mm, and the front of the ring is 22mm total.
