This necklace is handcrafted in sterling silver featuring a high-dome, jellybean shaped Holley agate from Holley, Oregon.

When this material was first discovered in the area, the color of the gemstone was more blue, hence the traditional moniker of "Holley 'blue' agate". Currently the original mining area is privately owned, and the material mined from the nearby adjacent areas has been more purple in color like the gemstone used for this pendant.

The gemstone is bezel and prong set with a hand-riveted bail. It comes with an Italian made sterling silver rope chain with a lobster clasp. The sterling silver is polished to a satin finish with darker oxidized areas in the chain and bail for depth.

The pendant measures 20 x 10 mm (about .75") including the bail, and the rope chain is 18" long.
